Jim does suggest taking maintenance doses before bed, but it's not a hard fast rule. You can take it in the morning too. Find what works best for you. BUT, it sounds like you are thinking (but correct me if I am wrong) but if you are thinking you have to split up those drops, --that is not the idea. A maintenance dose is taken all at one time. In other words one 6-drop dose, all at once. If you want to take it in the morning, take it first thing in the morning and then wait at least an hour (one and half or two even better) and then have your coffee. Or, you can take it before bed. You can actually take it any time of the day as well as long as you are not taking too close to other things that cancel out MMS such as orange juice, coffee, tea, etc.
I'm over 60 and over 200 lbs., so my maintenance dose is 8 drops daily. I would be sick if I took an 8 drop dose all at once. I use 8 ml of CDH (made with the overnight method) and 4 oz. of soda in a pint plastic water bottle and top it off with distilled water. I drink 1/3 of it every 15 minutes, then wait an hour after the last dose before eating. I take this first thing in the morning and have been doing so for months.
To supplement this regimen, I use Truthquester's idea of non-acidified MMS in filtered water. I can handle 3 drops of non-acidified MMS in each 8 oz of filtered water, and drink that mix all day, every day. It has no taste at all. I take it with me everywhere I go. I estimate that I'm getting 20 or more drops of un-acidified MMS per day, with no ill effects (and no colds, flu, etc.).
jmac, thanks for your method for daily maintenance dosing. The only thing I question is the addition of 4 fl oz of soda to CDH. You might want to test the CLO2 concentration using test strips to see if CLO2 is reduced by the soda.
Hi, CLO2. Yes, I tested the CDH/soda mixture with the test strips, and there is no change in strength after one hour, so it seems safe to use (too bad about all the sugar, though). It really helps with the taste.
