I'm new to the forum, I've done a lot of reading and searching for some information regarding the testing of HSV. From what I can see it's still a bit of a grey area if you can test for negative results as antibody tests are somewhat useless. Im wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions for testing if whether you have indeed been successful in overcoming the virus? With having had very few OBs (HSV1), im finding it difficult to determine whether this virus has been eradicated or not.
Any ideas, thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Markus2014 wrote: Thank You GJP, another question: You said, "Probably can go down when you don't get OB after the Virus died,..." Are you saying that its possible that the antibodies can go down far enough to get a negative test?
