A friend of mine said his dad uses activated MMS1 added to a glass of water.
He then adds a sprinkle of Sodium Bicarbonate to remove the unpleasant taste and says that is just perfect.

I have some of Bob's Red Mill on hand which is kosher (no aluminum).

Is my friends technique okay?

I'll have a second question...
If yes, can this work with MMS2 as well?
Probably better post this one elsewhere...

danielson - you will see in places on the forum - the staff recommend against mixing MMS activated with Sodium Bicarbonate, but I believe their is enough evidence it is ok if you mix it in small amounts - I use 1/8 tsp with a 10 drop dose (but only when I have to) as it does normalize the acidity of the mix and make sit taste better. Horses for courses -- as I prefer mixing up CDS in a daily shot glass process for my family maintenance.

I see no benefit is mixing SB with MMS2. If your dosage is low at start up and you maintain the protocol recommendation - you should have no problems. Mixing the protocol is only going to offset the potential results. Should you want to use Bicarb then take it separately with a time gap of an hour.

You are correct Sky.
In his book, Jim mentions that it is used as antidote for eventual overdosing of MMS.
So, i guess juices without vita C added are still best to take the unpleasant taste away.

Haven't tried MMS2 yet but i imagine that a juice might not be sufficient.
Not everyone has the time to make capsules, so perhaps there's another way to get that one in without the bad taste.
Keep on searching!

Thanks!

Taking one 400mg MMS2 capsule twice a day only gives me slight chlorine tasting burps occasionally. I have learnt to live with it.

MMS1 is pretty easy to get others to try but to make MMS2 homemade capsules is not as easy.
If MMS2 could be taken straight from a glass of water like MMS1 with juice or tea or whatever else to chase away the smell and taste... that would be best. Asking to much?

Unfortunately, pretty much. Jim Humble has spoken about taking it with COLD honey. I can't find the reference now - but you want it to get past the back of the throat before the honey melts.

I was just re reading about the honey technique last night Jim says the honey should be refrigerated absolutely essential it's cold then measure out bi-hourly dose of mms2 and mix it with a small amount of very cold honey, about the same amount as the mms2, take it immediately and wash down with a glass (or two) of water.
