Hello everyone, hopefully I will get some constructive feedback in regards to this.

I know that everyone on the earth does not have access to Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2), and I would like to dedicate this topic to suggest possible alternatives that are easier to access, I dont know how potent they are compared to the original mix so caution is advised especailly since they are UNTESTED. If a method produces Chlorine gas (Cl2) and there is a poisoning (not sure if the same occurs with too much ClO2), the treatment is water or milk providing they are not having vomit fits.

The one i want to suggest is produced using this method:
Table salt is added to water. Electricity is applied to the brine via two stainless electrodes. On the positive side a denser brown substance is created which sinks to the bottom of the solution. The electricity produces sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and hypochlorous acid (HClO). The colour of the HClO I made was not as brown as seen in the malaria video (the citric acid or ACV may have darkened it though).

There are devices on the market which produce "electrolyzed water", the alkaline water (NaOH) is good on grease, etc. the acid water is called a good disinfectant. I am not sure if the disinfectant from these machines is brown (like in the malaria video) or not (quite diluted) because i have not seen it, but i am noting that it is used to kill pathogens and said to be 10x more effective than chlorine. The advertising material on one site states "HOCL has a strong bactericidal effect on most known pathogenic bacteria due to its low pH (3-7) and high oxidation-reduction potential (ORP 800-1200 mV)..." (I am not selling anything here so dont mention me). This sort of thing is very popular in japan, one of their products is a soap-less washing machine. According to wikipedia, lye water often has a surfactant added to reduce residues.

Hi Charlie
We create Hypochlorus acid using MMS2, calcium hypochlorite, in capsules ingested with water.

It was never clear to me how acid, low PH water could disinfect given that low PH is where germs live.

I have one of the Ionizing water purifiers and it suggested acid water for cleaning.

Can you help me understand why Acid water would be better than Alkaline water for disinfecting?
Thanks!
